Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in TIA Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel (1300 m/4264 ft

After your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu, Nepal a Master Himalaya representative will be there for your warm welcome who will help you to transfer to the hotel, Introduce your trekking guide. Afternoon explores the Tourist Colorful market Thamel Bazaar Down Town. The evening will be for well come dinner with Master Himalaya team in Thamel bazaar.

Day 2 Drive to Pokhara by tourist Bus 6 hrs

Early in the morning 7:00 AM we start our journey to Lake city Pokhara. Drive through green hills and Tirsuli River Bank enjoy admirable views. After your arrival in Lake City Pokhara, you will transfer to hotel. A beautiful valley set on the banks of the Phewa Lake, Pokhara is also known for its panoramic views of Annapurna and Machapuchare in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west and Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east.

Day 3 Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Ulleri [2050 m], 2 hr drive and 6 hrs trek Day 5:

After Breakfast, We take a short drive to Nayapool, From there we start our trekking towards Ulleri. The trail this day is mostly easy uphills through small villages, several waterfalls, and suspension bridges. Overnight in Ulleri.

Day 4 Trek to Ghorepani [2750 m], trek 4 - 5 Hrs

The name Ghorepani in Nepali means ‘horse-water’ due to it being an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker's stop. Ghorepani is an interesting place with small shops and stalls for selling local products and crafts. The town has two parts: one in a saddle and the other a few hundred feet lower. We stop at the higher part of the Ghorepani village that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains. Since Ghorepani lies quite higher than our previous stop, we begin to feel the chilly weather, especially in the evenings.

Day 5 Trek to Tadapani [2700m], trek 6 - 7 Hrs

Today, very early in the morning, we start an hour hiking to Poon Hill at an elevation of 3,210 m, a brilliant mountain range spectacle; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. There we spend about 1 hour and returning to Ghorepani, we take a hot breakfast. Then we make a climb along ridges, and through pine and rhododendron forests, towards Deurali (2,960 m). After that, we descend to the Banthanti, then turn off to Tadapani.

Day 6 Trek to Dobato

After Tadapani we leave the main trail and for the next five days, we will walk in a more remote area of the Annapurna region. On our trek today we get to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna of the region and of course the magnificent view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South. Trekking in a relatively easy trail we reach Dobato which is dominated by the excellent view of the Annapurna South. Overnight in Dobato.

Day 7 Trek to Chistibung

Today early in the morning, we will hike 30 minutes uphill to multiview Point from where we will have a panoramic view of the high Himalayas including Dhaulagiri range and Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre. Then back to lodge. After breakfast, we will walk downhill for a while in the dense forest of Rhododendron and soon we will climb up the hill for few minutes then the trail goes level until reaching Bayli Kharka which takes an hour walking. From Bayli Kharka, there are great views of Dhaulagiri Range. Then we will descend through dense forest of Rhododendron until reaching small Stream and cross wooden bridge and walk continue for a while and soon again cross small stream, then start ascending for few minutes through the forest and trail goes for level until reaching open ground and forest to reach the pastures of lands, continue to walk through forest, ascending gradually and passing through several buffalo/yaks grazing pastures to reach a clearing and temporary herder’s settlement at Chistibung, where you will stay in the small community lodge or private lodge.

Day 8 Trek to Khopra Danda

We embark on a steady climb above the tree line through alpine meadows and pastures to reach Khopra. As we approach Khopra Ridge, we see the tip of Annapurna South. Upon reaching Khopra we go for a short walk down Khopra Ridge to a viewpoint overlooking Kali Gandaki river far below in this deep valley. From Khopra we also admire the stunning mountain panorama including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Annapurna South. Overnight in Khopra.

Day 9 Trek back to Dobato

From Khopra, We follow the same trail back to Dobato. Overnight in Dobato.

Day 10 Trek back to Tadapani

From Dobato, We follow same the trail back to Tadapani. Overnight in Tadapani.

Day 11 Trek Tadapani to Nayapoolvia Ghandrk then drive to Pohara[1940m], trek 3 - 4 Hrs

Today is the big day and the day for the supreme destination of this trekking expedition, the view of the sunrise in the famed Poonhill. For this, we start earlier as we have to descend from the hospitable Ghorepani village and reach to the foothill of Poonhill very soon within an hour or two depending on the speed of the trekkers. An hour of climb shall take us to the Poonhill viewpoint. Breathtaking view of sunrise over the mountains such as Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7855m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Nilgiri peak (6940m), Lamjung Himal (6931m), and other smaller peaks makes you hold your breath for some time. After the panoramic view of lofty peaks, we descend from Poonhill and trace the previously beaten track to Nayapool. Further, we shall drive to Pokhara by private jeep and have an overnight stay over there. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 12 Drive Back to Kathmandu (1300 m)

Drive back to Kathmandu viewing green hill and Tirsuli River Bank enjoy admirable views. In Kathmandu, You can Do some Last minutes shopping. In Evening, join farewell dinner organized by Master Himalaya Treks. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13 Departure farewell

Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel Check-out and transfer to International airport as per your schedule.
