Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (30 min) and trek to Namche Bazaar
Day 3: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche -4 /6 hours
Day 4: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche -5/6 hours
Day 5: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche – 5/6 hours
Day 6: Trek from Lobuche to Everest base camp & trek back to Gorak Shep – 5/6 hours
Day 7: Hike to Kalapathar & Fly back to Lukla by helicopter (2804 m/ 9200 f.t) & fly back to Kathmandu (1320 m/4330 f.t)
A quick flight started from Kathmandu’s airport to Lukla, the gateway journey from where our treks begin. Lukla is a small town in the Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality of Solukhumbu district. Lukla means a place with many sheep and goats. Though Lukla is a small town it contains a variety of food shops, lodging, and catering service. The first view of the M.t Everest can be seen during the climb of Namche bazaar. Namche bazaar is popular among trekkers, especially for altitude acclimatization. Namche Bazaar is also the main trading center of this region
On the second day early in the morning, we’ll be heading towards the Tengboche. From this, the difficult treks start. The distance from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche is 12 km. It is one of the most important acclimatization treks. Many people get headaches due to a lack of oxygen. But in some case, people might get several symptoms like vomiting or fainting
Today In the morning after having our morning breakfasts we‘ll be heading towards the Dingboche. The journey starts with the beautiful mountains in the background. After hiking 20 minutes from Tengboche a great view greets us. During the hike, we will stop at a hotel for Lunch. After having lunch we’ll continue our journey. We need to walk 400 meters to the valley floor before climbing meters up to Dingboche. After reaching Dingboche a much closer view of M.t Everest and M.t Lhotse can be seen. With the daylight fading, we’ll make our way down to Dingboche for a half-hour hike. We will be staying overnight at the Dingboche in the local guest house
The trek offers us a mesmerizing view of the mountains. Waking up early and having early breakfast we’ll be heading towards the lobuche. The destination of the fourth day might be hectic but the views and the journey will refresh your mind. The distance from Dingboche to Lobuche is 12kms. This place is at an altitude of 4900m. From Dingboche, the trails headed to Khumbu valley. Lobuche is situated at the side of the Khumbu glacier.
Today is the last day as well as a special day of a trek. Today you will be seeing the breathing-taking views of the M.t Everest. We will start our trek after having breakfast. Then we’ll be having our lunch at Gorak Shep. The trails leading to Gorak Shep are extremely beautiful. You will see lots of glaciers on the way. Once we reached there we will have our lunch and take a short rest there. After resting for a while we will be heading toward the EBC . After reaching there we will take a short break and enjoy the scenario .Then we will head back to Gorak Shep.
Kalapathar is one of the best viewpoints of the Everest region. The walk from Gorak Shep to Kalapathar is only 2 hours. The early morning walk to Kala Patthar is the most refreshing walk in the morning because we can observe their panoramic views with the sunrise of the snow-capped mountains. We will trek down to the Gorak Shep and have our breakfast then take a helicopter flight back to Lukla. Then we will take a normal flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla.
