Day 01: Kathmandu

Your yoga adventure trip day begins as you arrive in Kathmandu today. We will send a vehicle and our representative to welcome you at the airport and later take you to the hotel. We will meet at some point of the day today to talk about the trip in details. You will have a meditation class this evening to start the adventure with. Until then, you just take your time; relax and adjust to the new environment.

Day 02: Explore Kathmandu – B

Wake up early morning for a yoga practice session. The revitalizing yoga session will be of an hour. Enjoy the practice. After yoga practice and breakfast, we have a full day sightseeing tour of heritage sites in Kathmandu valley planned for today. The heritage sightseeing tour will take us to the oldest monument site in Kathmandu valley – Swoyambhunath, also called monkey temple. This place offers a nice view of Kathmandu valley and is also a spiritual center with a large Buddhist stupa in the middle and many other Hindu and Buddhist shrines around. We will go to Patan Durbar Square after we finish the tour of Swoyambhunath. Patan Durbar Square is a beautiful medieval royal palace site. The area offers the incredible presence of beautiful architecture and art and craft skills of the artisans of Patan kingdom of the medieval time. We will also visit Pashupatinath – a massive Shiva temple area where we see Hindu cremation ritual on the bank of River Bagmati – and Boudhanath – the largest Buddhist stupa.
We return back to the hotel and go for a relaxing meditation.

Day 03: Pokhara – B

We will get ready for another early morning yoga session. Later, after breakfast, we will have to check out hotel as we are going to Pokhara today. We will be on a long day drive about 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. The drive to Pokhara is a good one with nice scenic surroundings along the highway. We drive past beautiful towns and surrounding villages. The highway runs, for most of the section, on the river bank. Once we reach Pokhara, and if the weather is clear, snow-capped mountains will welcome us there. We will stay near Lake Fewa and will have a nice free time until our evening meditation meet.

Day 04: Tikhedhunga – B.L.D

A fresh morning start with yoga practice prepares us for the first day of trekking. We will have to drive about one and half hour to Nayapul to start our trekking adventure in the mountains. Once the trekking adventure starts, we follow the path along Modi Khola to Birethanti. We have to
check in to the Annapurna Conservation Area check post before we continue walking further. The walk to Tikhedhunga today is mostly on the dirt road and will take us around five hours to reach there.

Once we reach the overnight destination for the day, we will go for a rejuvenating stretching and meditation.

Day 05: Ghorepani – B.L.D

We will start the day with an energizing yoga session before setting out on a challenging trek for the day. The trekking to Ghorepani today starts with a steep uphill trail to Ulleri village for about two hours. The trail gets a bit better from Ulleri onwards. The walk through a lush forest towards
Ghorepani is as fascinating nature walking as anything can be. Upon reaching Ghorepani after about 6 hours on the trail, we will see a spectacular Himalayan panorama welcoming us on a clear weather. It is a blissful experience of practicing meditation session in front of such a
magnificent view.

Day 06: Tadapani – B.L.D

Although the destination for the day is Tadapani, we will start the day with a hiking trip to Poon Hill above Ghorepani. We have to wake up really before the break of dawn to reach Poon Hill for the sunrise and yoga practice on top. About an hour of uphill walk through rhododendron
forest takes us to Poon Hill at the elevation of 3,210 meters above sea level.

We will practice yoga at the top while enjoying the stunning view of the mountains and sunrise. Later, we hike back to Ghorepani; take breakfast and continue walking towards Tadapani. We will reach the overnight destination today in about five hours of walking through the mostly forested trail. We will have an energizing meditation session at Tadapani in the evening.

Day 07: Ghandruk – B.L.D

Early morning yoga practice will prepare for another day of trekking. Practicing yoga in front of snow-capped mountains is a joyful moment. Our walk for the day is of about four hours through nature to the beautiful ethnic village of Ghandruk to stay overnight. Ghandruk village is a nice
Gurung village with lots of cultural riches and spectacular views of mountains and surroundings. We will have a meditation session in the evening.

Day 08: Pokhara – B.L

We practice the last yoga session in the mountains this morning. It is our last trekking day as well. Later, we will trek down to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. The wonders of the mountains now remain in our heart and memory. As we are back, now in Pokhara, we enjoy some luxuries of the city to treat ourselves for the wonderful completion of the trekking adventure.

Day 09: Kathmandu – B

We enjoy another early morning session of yoga to prepare us for the day-long drive back to Kathmandu. Once we are back in Kathmandu, we can enjoy some free time to go around the streets of the town.

Day 10: Departure – B

These few days in the mountains of Nepal, practicing yoga and trekking, have been really wonderful. But we have come to the end of the trip today. So, we will drive you to the airport for your departure flight onwards. With the hope to see you again for another adventure with us in Nepal we say goodbye for now. Have a safe journey onwards! We are really happy to have you with us.
