Annapurna Base Camp Trek: A Wonderful Trekking Adventure to Explore the Mountain Madness
This adventure trekking in Nepal takes you to the amazing Annapurna region and offers an overwhelming mountain trekking experience. The meandering trail through the Modi River valley has beautiful natural surroundings that make your walking moments amazing. In addition to the natural surroundings along the trail, you will have astounding views of the snow-capped mountains. When you eventually enter the Annapurna sanctuary and to the Annapurna Base Camp, you will find yourself standing amidst the Himalayan peaks. The view of the base camp surroundings is just surreal and you will not believe that you are standing at that beautiful place.
A Peregrination of Natural Serenity and Mountain Vastness of the Annapurna
Walking to the base camp of an 8,000-meter mountain is certainly an amazing adventure. It becomes even more wonderful when beautiful nature and magnificent mountains accompany along throughout the walk. The trek also brings you a chance to indulge in the cultural wonders and a natural hot spring bath. You will simply go through incredible experiences that you will treasure in your life.
After your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu, Nepal. Master Himalaya representative will be there for your warm welcome who will help you to transfer to the hotel, introduce your trekking guide. In the afternoon we will explore colorfull market ThamelBazzar down town. There will be wellcome dinner with Master Himalaya team in Thamelbazzar in the Evening.
Early in the morning, we start our 2nd-day journey to lake city Pokhara. Driving through green hills and Trisuli River Bank enjoying admirable views. After your arrival in Lake City Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel. After onwards, we will visit beautiful valley set on the banks of the Phewa Lake, Pokhara which is also known for its panoramic views of Annapurna and Machapuchare in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west and Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east.
On 3rd day from Pokhara, first we will drive to Siwai via Nayapol. From Siwai, we take ascending trail via Modi Khola. On the way, you can see Nepali traditional farming. It will take approx 5 to 6 hours to reach Chhomrong. From chhomrong, you can see stunning views of Machhepuchhere (Fish tail), Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Gangapurna.
Day 4 will start with descend of 2500 stone steps and cross the bridge above ChhomrongKhola. From here it is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Next, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo.
We pass through a bamboo forest which is damp and cold then ascend steadily with a few steep sections. The forest will open up only after reaching Himalaya Hotel are we will be out in the sun again with astounding views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is sparser, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls. Overnight in Deurali.
Climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail, over to the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machhapuchhre base camp, we get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) along with Mt. Himchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III and Gangapurna which is certainly a rewarding experience. From here, we get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 360-degree panorama. From the base camp, we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Himchuli and other peaks. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.
We follow the same trail until Chhomrong. Once we have passed Khuldighar, there is an experimental sheep farm. The trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields. From Chomrong, the trail descends very steeply to the Jhinu. JhinuDanda is a natural hot spring where we will get a chance to take a dip in hot water.
