Rara National Park, Nepal’s smallest and most scenic national park that spreads over an area of 106 sq km is situated about 370 km north- west of Kathmandu and lies in Mugu a mountainous district of the western region of Nepal.  Rara lake trek is one of the most incredible and fascinating treks in all the Himalayan range lie northwest of Kathmandu in the remote area of Karnali. If you are looking of wilderness and solitude travel, this trek is an ideal choice.

The clear, high altitude lake of Rara, which mirrors the snow capped Himalayas is ringed with pine, spruce and juniper forest. The undisturbed largest lake also renowned as Mahendra Tal is of oval shape. Rara lake is also a popular serenity pilgrimage for Nepalese. This beautiful high altitude lake is surrounded by alpine meadows and forests of pine, juniper and spruce, whilst in the background you can view the magnificent snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas.

Fitness: This trip needs fair level of fitness, we recommend you to practice some exercises couple of months prior the trip

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour and preparation for Rara Lake trek.

Day 03: Fly Katmandu to Nepalgunj then transfer to hotel, 55 Mins flight

Day 04: Fly from Nepalgunj to Jumla (2370m), 30 Mins

Day 05: Trek Jumla to Danphe Langa (3130m).

Day 06: Trek Danphe Langa to Chautha (2770m).

Day 07: Trek Chautha to Dhotu (2380m).

Day 08: Trek Dhotu to Rara Lake (3040m).

Day 09: Explore rara lake and around.

Day 10: Trek Rara Lake to Ghorasingha (3190m).

Day 11: Trek Ghorasingha to Sinja (2440m).

Day 12: Trek Sinja to Jaljala (3270m).

Day 13: Trek Jaljala to Jumla.

Day 14: Fly Jumla to nepalgunj and same day fly to kathmandu

Day 15: Departure farewell
